The Nutcracker Noir is a bold reimagining of the classic Christmas tale: a darkly decadent immersive theatre and dining experience set in the heart of Shoreditch. Step inside Clara’s dream. Enjoy decadent drinks, tantalising treats, magical moments, surprising stories, curious characters and secret spaces all before you arrive at the Club Noir to feast on a five course gourmet meal. The story unfolds from plate to stage with music from Tchaikovsky to Lady Gaga and The Pogues — bringing theatre, dining and celebration together like never before. 
This is not the Nutcracker you know.

           Who is behind the show?
  
  The Nutcracker Noir is brought to you by an award-winning creative team including Richard Crawford (Secret Theatre), West End choreographer Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live), Gingerline, The Fat Duck and Feast and Fable’s Jenny McNeill, and the experiential visionaries at DesignScene.            Where is it held?
  
  The experience takes place at Protein Studios, 31 New Inn Yard, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 3EY. 
    
      What are the event dates?
  
  We’re live for a strictly limited run from 25 November to 21 December 2025, with two performances daily.
    
      How long is the experience?
  
  Approximately 3+ hours depending on your pre-show arrival time slot.
    
      When should I arrive?
  
  We operate a staggered arrival time for the immersive entry experience according to your ticket type:
VIP Booth: 12:45pm (Matinee) - 6:45pm (Evening)
VIP: 1:00pm (Matinee) - 6:45pm (Evening)
Club: 1:15pm (Matinee) - 6:45pm (Evening)
Bar Seat: 1:30pm (Matinee) - 6:45pm (Evening)
Don’t be late, the experience is sequential and you may miss the pre-show experience if you miss your time slot.

   BOOKINGS & TICKETS
 
      How can I book tickets?
  
  General tickets are available via Fever.
    
      How do I receive my tickets?
  
  Tickets will be issued by Fever as QR codes via email or through the Fever app. 
    
        What if I need to cancel or can’t attend?
  
  All tickets are non-refundable. Rescheduling may be possible depending on availability but cannot be guaranteed. 
    
      What if there’s a transport strike or major disruption?
  
  Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or date changes for travel disruptions. Please plan ahead. 
    
      What are the ticket types and prices?
  
  We offer a range of ticket types starting from £48 for bar seating (no meal included), up to £230 for VIP booths. Group discounts available. See our Tickets page for full details.
           Are group bookings available?
  
  Yes. We offer 10% discounts for groups of 8+. We welcome corporate parties, holiday celebrations and private hires. All discounts are subject to availability. Please contact our Groups team.
           Is there an age restriction?
  
  The Nutcracker Noir is a grown-up take on the classic and is strictly for guests aged 18 and over. No one under 18 will be admitted, and this includes infants and young children.
    
      Are animals allowed?
  
  Only registered service animals are permitted on site. If you are bringing a service animal onto site, please advise us at the point of booking or contact the Customer Support Team so we can ensure your requirements are carefully accommodated and considered.
    
      Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
  
  Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another person for free but you need to advise the Fever Ticket Support Centre if this changes any dietary or access requirements. Any queries relating to your ticket(s) should be directed at the ticket provider directly. Fever Ticket Support Centre
           Do I need to print my ticket?
  
  No, your contactless tickets will be delivered directly in the Fever App, available on the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
           I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
  
  You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. Any issues with your tickets, please contact the ticket provider directly. Fever Ticket Support Centre

      Who is behind the menu?
  
  The menu is crafted by immersive dining specialists Feast + Fable, whose team has worked with Gingerline, the Fat Duck and beyond.
    
      What’s on the menu?
  
  A creative, global inspired five-course feast. The full menu can be viewed here.
           Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
  
  We can cater to the following dietary requirements with advance notice: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free. Our menu will be nut free but we cannot guarantee no cross contamination through the supply chain. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate bespoke or unlisted diets due to the nature of our event catering. We cannot cater for diets such as: FODMAP, keto, paleo, Whole30, raw food, etc. or highly specific individual allergies beyond the standard top 14 or requests made on the night so please let us know your requirements when booking.
    
      Can I change my dietary requirements after I have made a booking?
  
  For any updates to the answers you provided during the booking process, please contact info@nutcracker-noir.com.
The deadline for any dietary requests and updates is 72 hours before the show time. Bar Ticket guests will be able to enjoy food from our Bar Menu, which can also be bought in advance at point of purchase.
           Will drinks be available to purchase?
  
  Yes. A full bar will be open offering cocktails, wines, beer, champagne and more as well as non-alcoholic options. 
    
      Can I buy takeaway drinks or alcohol to go?
  
  Only drinks for on-site consumption will be available.
    
      Can I pay in cash?
  
  No, The Nutcracker Noir is a card-only event. 
    
         IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
 
      What’s included in the ticket price?
  
  Each ticket includes a welcome drink and festive treat, immersive entry journey, theatrical performance, and a seasonal five-course meal (except bar tickets).
    
      Do I need to dress up?
  
  While there’s no dress code, we recommend dressing to impress. Think festive, fabulous, and ready for a night of theatrics.
    
      Is there audience participation?
  
  You can choose how involved you want to be. The experience is interactive, but you’re always welcome to observe from your seat if that’s more your style.
    
      Is photography allowed?
  
  Yes, photography is welcome in most areas. You’ll be guided on when it’s not allowed. Flash photography is not permitted during performance scenes.
    
      Will there be strobe lighting or loud effects?
  
  Yes, some scenes may include flashing lights and strobe lighting, sudden loud noises, fog and haze effects and areas of low lighting. If you have sensitivity concerns, feel free to get in touch in advance.
    
      Will there be merchandise?
  
  Yes! Visit our on-site Christmas shop for ornaments, gourmet treats, and exclusive Nutcracker Noir merch. 
    
   PRACTICAL INFO
 
      Will there be a cloakroom?
  
  Yes. Cloakroom access is included in your ticket. 
    
      Is the venue accessible?
  
  Yes. The venue is wheelchair accessible (with the exception of VIP booths as they are on a slightly raised base). Please let us know of any access needs in advance so we can best support you. 
    
      Do you offer carer tickets?
  
  We want as many people as possible to experience the Nutcracker Noir. Please contact info@nutcracker-noir.com for all access bookings. Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid entry ticket.
If you require the assistance of a Companion/PA, we ask that you provide one of the following forms of documentation, to be shown on entry. This will act as evidence of your requirements. Without this documentation we will be unable to provide a complimentary Companion/PA ticket.
Accepted forms of documentation include:
- Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility.
 
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP) documentation.
 
- Evidence of being severely sight impaired.
 
- CredAbility Access Card with a “+1” category requirement.
 
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID card.
 
Please note that carer tickets do not come with a meal.

           What about security?
  
  We take the safety and security of our guests and staff members very seriously. We have a range of robust security measures in place for the protection of all who visit and work in our venues. We have a zero tolerance policy for any abuse of staff.

           What happens if I arrive late?
  
  Latecomers will be admitted but you may miss the early part of the show experience and be taken directly to your table.
    
      What are the prohibited items at the experience?
  
  Please don’t bring any food or drinks to the venue.
    
      Can I smoke or vape?
  
  Yes, you will be able to smoke or vape outside the venue and our staff can escort.
    
      Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience?
  
  Yes, you will be seated during the show.
    
      Will restrooms be available on site?
  
  Yes we have toilets and an accessible toilet at the venue.
